Lately, news regarding the tragic death and legacy of pop singer Michael Jackson has seemingly been overshadowed by Michael Jackson child custody battle which involves speculation about whether or not Michael Jackson’s ex-wife will seek child custody and ultimately who will win child custody of Michael Jackson’s children.
Reportedly, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, and mother of two of his children, has won a delay in a child custody hearing to give her time to decide whether or not she wants to care for the children following the death of Michael Jackson. Rowe was reportedly quoted as telling NBC4 television: “I want my children. I am stepping up. Yes, I have to.” However, Debra Rowe’s child custody lawyer said later that she was still considering her decision. “I am representing to you now, Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings,” he said. Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine, has been granted interim custody of the children as his will stipulated that she be made guardian in the event of his death.
